Free Printable Fall Scavenger Hunt
I'm getting ready for the fall days. We love a good autumn day enjoying the change in weather and nature.
My kids love scavenger hunts, so we made a special one just for chilly fall days. We have been seeing all sorts of fall decor in stores, and the kids have been asking when we can go to the pumpkin patch already.
I think the kids are really looking forward to to do this autumn themed scavenger hunt. It's Augtober, so it's not too early to start thinking fall, right?

Sweet and Simple Autumn Scavenger Hunt For Any Time
This scavenger hunt can work in a variety of different situations. The kids helped me design this scavenger hunt by thinking up autumn themed items.
Once summer melts away and fall decor is in full swing, we plan on taking a neighborhood walk to see if we can spot all these scavenger hunt items. Perhaps we'll spot the majority of these items as porch decor.
I don't anticipate this scavenger hunt taking too long. It's perfect for a weekend afternoon too, when the kids are lounging around.
Lots to See and Spot During the Fall Months
The autumn season is an ideal time for a kids scavenger hunt. There are a lot of seasonal decor and nature to see and spot.
In the neighborhood, people are always decorating with pumpkins, hay bales, and the likes. Pumpkin patches are also sure to have a lot of these scavenger hunt items. Lastly, we included lots of natural items to spot on a family nature hike.
TIP: Print the scavenger hunt 2 pages per sheet (so they are ½ page eatch), and give the kids these cute small clipboards for walks.

What Age Is This Scavenger Hunt Suitable For?
This printable autumn scavenger hunt is good for elementary-aged kids and younger. I included both words and pictures, so kids of all ages can play.
My kids usually like to do scavenger hunts together. But once in a while the older one doesn't like the younger one to follow. So if you have multiple kids, make sure to print a copy out for each kid.
You can also print out a couple extra copies and have the kids do this scavenger hunt with friends. It's a great playdate activity.
