Sick Day Activity Bingo Reward Ideas
Do you have any good ideas for what kids can get when they finish the sick day activities? I've been brainstorming ideas, and here are some of my thoughts.
Screen Time
Perhaps the easiest bingo reward for a sick child would be some screen time. For example, a movie or a favorite TV show would be an appropriate reward.
Eat Ice Cream or a Popsicle
If your kid has a sore throat, a popsicle might be a great reward. Depending on the symptoms, our kids sometimes crave cold foods to eat when they are sick.
Alternatively, a healthier option would be a cold smoothie to drink. Smoothies are hydrating and filled with vitamins.
Go for a Drive
If your child is well enough, perhaps it would be fun to take them for a drive. Our kids jump at any opportunity to go out, especially after being stuck home for a few days.
Can you go for a scenic drive? Or drive to a nearby park?
Even better, drive to go buy a treat like a smoothie or honey chamomile tea.
